about

Written, composed, produced, mixed, and mastered by The Debauch Sophisticates in 2012.

No samples used on this entire album, all 100% original content.

This album before it's release was code named "Video Game Fight Music". What you are hearing is entirely inspired by the soundtrack of our lives during our childhoods in the 80's and 90's. That soundtrack being the glorious and action packed melodies during battle with 8 and 16 bit final bosses.

As mentioned, not a sample was used on this album. It was composed in a purely digital realm unlike much of our other work which is often composed with a mix of hardware and software. This fact alone had us working hard to bring out any potential analog vibe to give the impression of the golden age of music and video games alike.

Special thanks to Alexandre Van Cleeff for his contribution to track 7 "fortress van 2". Thanks to sega for inventing the genesis, thank you to the guys who invented computers so we can bring you content. Last but not least, thanks to all our supporters, friends, and families who help us with our music.
